A newly created AIF CAT 3 Fund (Hedge Fund) in Mumbai is looking to hire an exceptionally dynamic candidate with a successfully proven track record as their "Chief Sales Officer/ VP Global Business Development" who will lead,expand and rapidly grow their business Domestically as well as Internationally across the world

Job Responsibilities :

- To take key responsibility for enhancing the topline - Sales, Business Development and Relationship Management for all clients (domestic and international)

- Lead the Institutional Sales effort. Meet & exceed business targets in terms of volume of business generated and the number of institutional clients enrolled. In addition, developing and maintaining a strong pipeline of new customers will be a key indicator of future success expectations

- Identify and develop Institutional Clients / Fund Houses / Portfolio Manager. Acquire new clients (FIIs/Domestic FIs) and build the Institutional client base

- Identify, convert & develop successful business relationships with Institutional Clients, Fund Houses, Portfolio Managers, Investment Advisors, Private Equity Firms, Banks, FIIs, DIIs, HNI/UHNI & other Institutional Investor segments

- Responsible for revenue generation in terms of overall sales and new client acquisition (Domestic and/or International)

- Conceiving and implementing sales/business development strategies

- Develop close relationships with CIO / fund managers, analysts, dealer across various clients

- Arranging Roadshow, one to one meeting of Companies with Institutional clients

- Maintaining key business relationships across both new and existing clients

- Effectively execute and manage every element of the sales process on an individual level

- Ensure Servicing of the Institutional Customers within agreed norms and service levels

- Timely and accurate MIS reporting to all concerned.

Competencies Required :

- 12 - 20 Years of successful experience in Institutional Sales covering domestic and international institutional clients in Indian/Global stock markets

- Proven experience in niche financial services/ product sales with a documented record of success, an active client base, and good corporate contacts.

- Strong relationships with key global financial advisors, Institutions and Fund Houses.

- Excellent understanding of financial markets

- You will have an MBA or similar from Tier 1 institutes in India or globally

- Previous background in Alternative Investment Funds (AIF), Wealth or Asset Management sector would be strongly preferred
