- Manage and oversee legal disputes and litigation matters related to acquired NPA accounts.
- Having adequate knowledge of DRT Act, SARFAESI Act, IBC 2016 other relevant law pertaining to Banking and financial institutions.
- Collaborate with the acquisition team to ensure legal compliance in the purchase of non-performing assets (NPAs). Knowledge of current trends in the distress debt industry.
- Ensure compliance to all Audit / RBI regulations applicable to ARCs.
- Analysing the NPA accounts to determine the resolution strategy.
- Review and draft legal documents, contracts, and agreements pertaining to asset resolution.
- Relevant experience in legal roles within the financial services sector, preferably with ARCs, NBFCs or Banks.
- Knowledge of financial laws, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards as per RBI guidelines.
- Contribute to the development and revision of internal policies related to asset reconstruction.
- Provide legal insights into policies governing NPA management.
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution.
Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience of working ARCs/ NBFCs/ Banks.
Age: Minimum 40 years
