Profile:

About the role :

- As an Area Sales Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the City Head with their daily tasks for growing the Online Ordering business in the city. Also be responsible for managing a highly dynamic and young breed of sales and account managers.

Here is what you will work towards and responsible for :

- Work closely with the City Head and support them with end to end city business and P&L grow the number of merchants on-board.

- You will manage the revenue for the business by planning, strategizing, and executing operations to meet and exceed targets.

This would also involve :

- Plan, prioritize and execute sustainable solutions for user and merchant growth

- Own supply and product experience

- Work closely with the central services team and solve for long and short term issues with sustainable solutions

- Sustain and grow the revenue by new merchant acquisitions and retention

- Build and lead a layered sales team - formulate targets, city priorities, drive recruitment, training and mentoring of team members to ensure individual growth and transfer of learning across the region

- Develop plans for key accounts, manage their expectations and contribute towards client satisfaction

Who fits the bill :

- Should have 3 to 5 years of experience with substantial experience in driving numbers, business development,account management and sales roles across industry

- Enjoys solving complex problems through analytical excellence and commercial acumen

- Has strong people skills with 2+ years of experience in managing and leading layered teams and budgets

- Proven track record of achieving targets - including planning, team management and execution of plans to achieve the desired business goals

- Should possess - strong work ethic, willingness to get hands dirty and get stuff done

- Has good business judgment, strong prioritization skills, an unwavering focus, and the ability to multitask while working in a highly charged environment
