Summary:
The Wholesale Sales Manager will be responsible for development and performance of all sales activities in assigned market, with primary focus being new business. This position will staff and direct a sales team and provide leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Facilitate negotiation and refinement of detailed contracts between Company and Customers
- Facilitate teamwork and high-level communications between many internal departments
- Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets
- Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans, as needed
- Conducts one-on-one reviews with all Sales Representatives to build effective communications, understand development needs, and to provide insight for improved sales performance.
- Develop and ensure implementation of Sales strategies to deliver annual volume objectives of the region within budgeted costs
- Recruiting competent sales people for his team
- Focus on all round development of sales team by training, continuously motivating, rewarding their performances and deal firmly with non-performances
Requirement :
Education : Graduate (any discipline). MBA/PG in Sales & Marketing/Business Management will be preferred
Experience :
- At least 7 years out of which at least 3-4 years in the sales manager capacity, worked in FMCG industry.
- Sales Management, Planning and Operational Skills
- Negotiation Skills
- Team Management is Must.
