Area Sales Manager - Transportation

Area Sales Manager/Transportation/Exp 5-8yrs/Location - Chandigarh,Ahmedabad,Chennai, Kolkata,Bangalore,Mumbai,Nagpur

Job Description -

- Shall be responsible for the branches under his area (6 to 7 branches)

- Should acquire Three corporate customers (fresh or from the existing clients) of over Rs. 20 Lakhs (one customer every four months) each year

- Should generate (local) new business to the tune of a minimum of Rs. 5 Lakhs per month

- Successfully close business/RFQs' worth Rs. 10 Lakhs per customer, per month, from the corporate office client list of 5

- Should meet up with the respective corporate clients once in two weeks on a regular basis

- Should review each of the branches under him every weekend and submit report to the corporate office every Monday

Qualification: UG - Any Graduate - Any Specialization, PG - MBA/PGDM - Marketing

Candidate Profile:

- Should be a graduate. Specialisation in Marketing would be an advantage

- Should have a minimum of ten years of marketing experience.

- Should have a strong knowledge of Hard Freight. Work experience with companies doing the same business would be highly advantageous and are preferred.

- Should be able to handle cold calls as well as drive the end to end sales cycle

- Should be able to handle the sales administration and people efficiently and effortlessly

- Should be a go getter, self starter, aggressive to achieve his targets, honest and humble yet determined to get what he/she wants

- Should be an excellent communicator; both verbal and written- English, Hindi (if possible)

- Should be able to communicate in local regional language verbally

- Should be computer savvy

- Should be good at handling vendors and customers at the same time. Good PR skills are essential.

Minimum Experience: 5 - 8 Years
