Our client is one of the largest and most well renowned golf equipment companies in the world. They have a significant presence in the India market, and have ambitious plans to grow rapidly, as they diversify into alternate product lines. They are looking to hire an Area Sales Manager - Lifestyle Business based out of Bangalore looking into West & South region

Job Description

The incumbent will be

- Responsible for sales, marketing and promotion strategies and plans for retail accounts, distributors and major accounts and accountable for regional sales revenue, gross margin, promotion, marketing, and selling expense budgets

He / She will

- Develops and implements strategic sales plans and growth strategies for retail accounts, distributors and major accounts.

- Directs distribution and channel planning and development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.

- Leads development of sales programs, preferred retailer programs and setting of targets for all channels and retailers to achieve regional sales and growth objectives

- Leads the development of strategic marketing initiatives and promotion plans with retailers to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.

- Advises retailers, dealers and clients concerning sales and promotion techniques.

- Oversees pre-booking and inventory requirements.

- Accountable for revenue, gross margin budgets and selling expense budgets for the region.

- Performs retail market visits, develops and monitors action plans.

The Successful Applicant

- You will be a business professional with prior experience of 3-4 years in handling Multi Branded Outlets / luxury / retail stores in High Streets. The client is looking for someone with a working knowledge of the Modern Retail Format in the India market. The ideal candidate would be someone who has an interest in sports in general, and golf in particular
