Job Description

Job Title: Area Sales Manager (TCA)

Sales experience in Chemical , Chromatography Spares & Consumables products

Job Track: Professional

Position Location: Chennai

Position Objective:

- Handing the chemical , Chromatography Spares & Consumables product portfolio for Industry and Research segment.

- Planning and Implementing the Pricing Strategy for Organic Chemicals business, Imported Chemicals business and specialized chemical services.

- Defining the product, product application, grade, pack size, pricing. Product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle which includes gathering and prioritizing products based on market feedback and customer requirements.

- NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT: working closely with R&D, Production & QA/QC teams, conceptualizing to commercialization of a product, interfacing with manufacturing for implementation support.

- Working closely with Key Pharma accounts on projects for increasing the SOW.

- Preparation of Annual Marketing Plan and annual marketing budget.

- Conducting Training Programmes for the field force.

- Launching Product Promotion Schemes into the market for Channel Partners to increase the SOW at various customer end.

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS (Both essential & desirable):

- Well versed with Excel and Power point.

- Basic operational knowledge on ERP will be preferred

BEHAVIORAL SKILLS (Both essential & desirable):

- Good written and verbal communication skills.

- Good at coordination and multitasking

- Self starter

- Good team player with business acumen and leadership skills
