His/Her responsibility is to steer the distributor(s) and make sure their actions are supporting the company's strategy & goals.  His/Her main obligation is:  - To plan, coordinate and implement our business activities within the territory/city,  - To ensure first class quality execution at the POS in traditional & modern retail,  - To provide information to the Sales Management Team on relevant developments in the Indian market, e.g. trade environment and competitors- moves,   - To closely monitor and manage the sales support team (BAs) to maintain alignment with the agreed execution plans,  - To propose specific operative actions and strategic plans based on thorough market analysis.  - He has to look at profitability per store and healthy ROI for the distributor as well.  - Needs to manage distributor well - speed to market, good trade relations, claim submission & clearance.  - Needs to be good and prompt in reporting and data analysis.  - Needs to know market intelligence and suggest ideas to grow business.  He/She is fully responsible for supporting the sales support staff on a daily basis and to maintain a good relationship while clearly pointing out problems and missed opportunities.  Successful performance requires:  - Reporting the activities of the competition at pre decided time intervals.   - Planning and implementing innovative sales programs/strategies to improve the productivity per store.  Distribution/Inventory Management:  - Maintain & Grow within the current Distribution network, provide smooth and in-depth distribution from distributor point  - Inventory Planning & Optimize inventory carrying cost.  - Ensure optimal distribution cost by better Routing & Scheduling.  - Monitoring inventory control, thereby ensuring ready availability of the stock as per the market demand and implement effective inventory management strategies.  Brand/Product Management:  - Ensuring maximum brand visibility at the Point of Sale with the aid of POS materials.  - Undertaking Sales Analysis by SKU for achieving Primary & Secondary Sales target set for Area.  - Ensuring timely Implementation of Visibility, Promotional Schemes, and Display of POP material, Banner, Billboard Etc.  Channel Management:  - Identifying & networking with channel partners/ Distributors, resulting in market penetration & reach as evaluating performance & monitoring their sales and marketing activities.  - Conducting and executing meets with Distributor & Key Retailers about new or Re-launch Product and its benefits.  Team Management:  - Managing the team of beauty consultants and keeping them updated on competitor products, their weaknesses and techniques & the organization's business activities.  - Leading & monitoring the performance of team members to ensure efficiency in operations and meeting of individual & group targets.  - Identifying and implementing strategies for building team effectiveness by promoting a spirit of cooperation between team members.  Key Responsibilities:  - Implementing Channel Strategies  - Identifying opportunities for growth in top line & distribution  - Executing selling strategies for relevant product categories  - Go-To-Market Management (Sales Support Plan execution)  - Executing Trade Promotions  - Appointment and alignment of Distributor  - Distributor Management  - Keep track of Secondary Sales, and regularly conduct reviews with extended sales team.  - Responsible for Channel wise Sales and Develops them in close observation to see the Sales Development in highly Competitive Market   - Monitor competition and report with strategies & recommendations to the Management.  - Responsible for MIS reporting for his/her territory/city.  - Successfully launch new products  - Assisting Sales Director for Sales forecasting Brand wise SKU's basis Market Potential & sales trend.  - Training & Development of distributor sales team, providing timely feedback in the market & through monthly review.  - Merchandising: Occupying maximum space in retail & keeping product as in Plano gram with in category  - Submitting NOCs (No Objection certificate)   a) from distributors on a quarterly basis  b) from modern trade stores on an annual basis  Required Qualification:  - Education: Graduate in any principle, MBA preferred  - 6-8 years experience in Sales  - Minimum 4 years responsibility for handling Traditional Trade in the city & 2 year's responsibility for handling Modern Trade in the city.  - PC Know-how: Good MS-Office skills   - Languages: excellent command of spoken and written English, Hindi & Local Language
