Area Sales Manager for a leading Japanese Material Handling company @ Kolkata
Job Description :-
Primary Responsibilities:-
- Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and target for the Territory & Key Accounts in line with the Branch / Regional objectives.
- Defining the Territory/Customer base per team member. Communicating job expectations, allocating targets to the team members, planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions
- This role provides direction and leadership to the team members while being responsible for overall customer satisfaction and market share within the defined geography.
- Maintains and expands customer base by counseling the team members; building and maintaining rapport with key customers & identifying new customer opportunities.
- Reviewing Weekly/monthly performance of the Team members
- Achieve KPI targets.
- Territory coverage per Team member.
- Equipment: Retail Orders & margin
- Order loss reporting/weekly basis
- Equipment: Sales/Invoicing quantity
- Ensure Overall Customer Satisfaction (incl. Sales, After sales etc.,)
- AR & Form Collections
Secondary Responsibilities:-
- Recommends/Participate in developing product lines strategy by identifying new product opportunities/ market trends, understanding consumer needs and tracking competitors' new field initiatives.
- Manage Key Accounts (> X units) in the territory which includes new orders / repeat orders.
- Understanding, analyzing reviewing market trends, highlights and growth
Analyze business potential, conceptualize, present to Branch / Regional Managers for approval and subsequent execution.
- Monitor competitor activities and devise effective counter measures for assigned territory.
