Position : Area Sales Manager

Location : Many Locations in West India

Qualification : MBA with 6+ Years experience in FMCG industry

Purpose Of The Job :

Formulate and implement Sales & Distribution Plan for the Circle for Food products. Lead, motivate and train the Circle team and the Customer Groups to achieve the circle business objectives.

Principal Accountabilities :

TM& D Deliverables :

- To assist the Asst Manager Groc in the development of the Grocery 1 Circle S&D plan and to execute the same with efficiency and within agreed budgets.

Business Strategy Development and Sales planning :

- Develop implementation plan based on the Branch Business Plan for his circle.

- Cascade and aligns business plans to sales team in is Circle and ensures achievement of the same. Also ensures achievement of the category availability, visibility and freshness plans.

- To monitor the agreed Productivity measures and drive them in the Circle. To set up systems towards achievement and review of the same.

Achievement of Sales Objective :

- Ensure achievement of value/volume and share objectives set for the Circle.

Category expertise :

- To continually refine and input into Category understanding, of the Circle team, with the assistance of the Asst Mgr Groc and using market intelligence. To use the same to recommend and implement plans for driving business objectives.

Customer Relationship & Customer Development :

- Ensuring adequate customer training related to convenience channel and products along with the Asst Mgr Groc

- Continually track WD effectiveness especially with regards to remittance expectation and achievement of S&D deliverables and take corrective action with the Asst Mgr. Groc.

- Ensure collection and validation of the relevant data for MDP on a periodic basis.

Strategic Cost Management :

- To closely monitor and optimize costs for Brand inputs, Infrastructure and delivery in consultation with the other Assistant Manager and take corrective action.

- Monitor and minimize D&D.

People Management :

- Develop and Train team members to enhance competencies

Environment Management :

- Ensuring redressal of consumer complaints

Code of conduct & statutory compliance :

- Adherence to the code of conduct by the Grocery team

- Ensures team compliance with all statutory and regulatory norms and provide understanding to the team with regards to the same.

Systems / processes / work practices :

- Ensuring implementation of TM&D systems across the Circle.

- Identification & adaptation of Best practices
