COMPANY: A leading multinational FMCG Organization

LOCATION: Ahmedabad

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

- Responsible for maximizing Sales, Distribution, Product visibility & Display related objectives through leveraging the planned resources & infrastructure at the Area Level with in the values and parameters set by the company.

REPORTS TO: Regional Sales Manager

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

CORE

- Achievement of Volume and Value targets by Month, QTR & Year.

- Achieve Sales, Distribution and Display leadership with in area /CSD.

- Coach Field force to improve sales capabilities to achieve executional excellence thru planned field contacts.

- Strengthen the Distribution network and manage the distributors productively

- Execute trade marketing initiatives thru field force.

- Achievement of control targets in terms of FG&A and overheads.

- Execute Display & Merchandizing guidelines in each & every channel of trade.

- Ensure the area team consists of the right caliber people who are motivated and trained to achieve ambitious business plans consistently.

OTHERS

- Controls of receivables

- Holding negotiations with Key accounts on yearly terms of trade and execute plans in Modern trade.

- Lead in managing the relationships and executional excellence in assigned “Key Accounts” based in the area in coordination with Key account team.

- Responsible for ensuring return on investment to distributors this continuous monitoring of agreed norms and service levels.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

- Generally operating from a state HQ / CFA town.

- Job involves close to 18 days of field contact. High physical energy is important.

- Lap top is must to carry out the job. Mobile phone is provided by the company.

- Also manages the consumer issues if any

- Needs to work in a matrix work culture

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATION:

Essential

- University Degree

- Excellent understanding of Sales, Methods & Processes.

- Local languages, Hindi, English

Experience

Essential

- Minimum 4 – 6 yrs. of Sales experience in a FMCG environment having managed front line sales teams.

- Understand various evolving channels of trade

Preferred -MBA

Preferred

- Experience of managing 2 states in sales or sales plus Trade Marketing in region or Modern Trade exposure at area level.
