Area Sales Manager for Mumbai (3-5 years) - Only 2007/2008/2009 batch candidates will be considered.
Reports to: Regional Manager
Location: Mumbai
Qualification and Experience: MBA from premier Institute with 3-5 years of Sales experience in MNC or large Indian FMCG Companies. 2007/2008/2009 Batch premier Institute Only
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet Sales and Distribution targets by effective implementation of area sales & development plans
- Develop Sales forecast / Channel Sales Strategy and define allocation of sales targets for all categories based on trends
- Distribution expansion / Stocks and logistics planning for the area
- Work very closely with Customer Marketing / Shopper Marketing / Key Account teams in management of schemes/promotions/contests being run to promote company brand
- Execute New product Launches by channel / specific promotions - exhibitions, sampling, in-store activities etc in Key A/Cs
People Management:
- Build and develop team. / Train and work closely with team. Enhance team motivation and productivity levels
Key Deliverables:
- Achievement of Volume (primary & secondary) Growth in the Area.
- Achievement of distribution objectives.
- Meet Merchandising objectives to create brand awareness at retailers’ and customers end.
- Effective planning & Implementation of Sales promotions.
- Effective management of trade spend budget
- Grievances Handling
- Meet action standards on improving and maintaining infrastructure.

- Good selling skills, promotion planning, trade spend management
- Ability to foresee future requirements keeping in mind the changing organization needs.
- Ability to do multi tasks and be comfortable with some ambiguity
