Hiring for Area Sales Manager-Delhi with one of our client in the FMCG space
Location: Delhi
Required exp: 2-8 years in sales with 3+ years in FMCG space.
Should have worked in Delhi market
Educational requirements: MBA from tier 1/2 institutes.
Job role:
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Sales:
- Setting up monthly targets for the distributors in the area.
- Executing potential analysis of territory and devising action plan
- Designing monthly sales schemes for the channel partners (distributors, stockist and retailers)
- Ensure settling of claims against previous month trade schemes that the distributors submit monthly / bi-monthly.
- Responsible to keep a check on the service efficiency of the distributor to the stockist- regarding claim settlement, damage replacement etc.
- Checking on the retail coverage efficiency and credit to the market of the stockists.
- Monitoring secondary sales of the stockist and suggest improvements thereon.
- Preparing monthly reports regarding primary and secondary sales, competitor activities, growth of the stockist, efficiency of trade scheme etc for the regional meeting held once in a month.
STOCKIST & DISTRIBUTOR MANAGEMENT :
- Appointment of stockist
- Responsible for the distributor Performance evaluation on a quarterly basis and reporting the same to Regional Manager & Manager Sales Operations
- Responsible for ensuring the distributor ROI and reporting the same to Regional Manager & Customer Care every quarter.
MARKET INTELLIGENCE :
- Responsible for keep a tab on Competition Activities
Other Activities:
- Billing Plan to be sent to MIS
- Reporting Stockist and DSO target
- Designing the SO Permanent Journey Plan (PJP)
- Physical Stock verification at CFA
- Verification of CFA bills
- Reporting requirement for packing material at CFA based on the sales forecast
