Area Sales Manager - CPG/FMCG - IIM/XLRI/FMS/MDI/IMT

The incumbent should be an MBA from premiere institute like IIM's, XLRI,MDI,Jamnalal, IIT Mumbai, FMS Delhi, SIBM, SCMHRD, IMT Ghaziabad etc with 4 to 6 years of experience in Sales and Distribution with FMCG/CPG Company.

The incumbent will be responsible for -:

1. Retail Sales and Channel Management.

2. Implementing strategies on product positioning and visibility, market penetration, new market development, channel segmentation, sales mix and pack sizes in order to augment business and exceed profit margins. Maintain strong position in the organized trade

3. Planning and executing the marketing & merchandising initiatives and brand activations within the budget targets in lines with the organizational and regional objectives

4. Planning and executing sales promotion activities to generate demand/ push and build/ sustain & improve brand image

5. Implementing and managing Sales planning and stock forecasting strategies with high levels of accuracy and consistency.

6. Leading the sales team keeping a high level of motivation & feedback with a view to build an aggressive and motivated sales management team in the branch

7. Liaisoning with Marketing and Finance to set sales goals and budgets to meet and exceed Sales revenue and profitability targets.

8. Setting the direction and an innovative consumer facing culture in the team by managing individual and team performance expectations and goals

9. Gaining market intelligence and visibility through competitive mapping and market trends across the state

10. Strong negotiation and influencing Skills: Develops mutually beneficial relationships with key internal stakeholders and customers in line with Company Anti Bribery Gift & Hospitality policy.
