Area Manager

Job Description :

- Main responsibility is to drive sales results in one of the district in Gujarat over the next 12 months and then earn promotion to replicate the same learning in multiple geographies across relevant markets

- Develop and implement an effective sales organization that is primarily responsible for direct sales and secondly for channel partner development

- Create and standardize monthly/quarterly sales plans and territory forecasts and performance reports

- Define set of metrics to track, analyze and evaluate sales performance of our Field Sales team

- Train and mentor the sales team and drive them to achieve their targets

- Continuously improve sales team performance through defining and refining best practices. Lead by example by affecting direct sales!

- Be available to travel frequently to territories to support sales officers

- Coordinate with marketing department to ensure the sales team has required materials and information to promote the company's products and services

- This position is for professionals who truly love being in sales function and intend to build a long-term career prospect in this function.

- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in sales of tractors, agricultural equipment's, micro irrigation and other irrigation equipment's, other engineering or innovative products and must have an in-depth exposure to rural markets.

- Should have experience in direct sales of above products to opinion makers or have experience in affecting the product/services sales by influencing the opinion makers in their respective rural territories.

Location : Vadodara
