We are looking for a Area Operation Manager (O&M)for India's largest mobile tower installation company based at Thanjavur ( Tamil Nadu)/ Karimnagar ( Andhra Pradesh ) Ideal candidate has the relevant O&M experience in Telecom industry, is a full time Engineering degree holder , is a native or knows local language Job Details : Location : Thanjavur (Tamil Nadu)/ Karimnagar ( Andhra Pradesh ) Language Proficiency : Local Language Grade : Manager ; Team Management Function Name : Field Operations Reports to : Circle O&M Head Nature of Role : Direct Reports: FSEs (8 to 10), Entire Operation team of the Area assigned Division/ Dept: : Operations & Maintenance Work Timings : 9 AM - 6 PM, however candidate must be flexible and open to stretch CTC : Industry Standards Experience : 7 yrs to 15 yrs Education : B.E/B.Tech ( Full time) - Diploma Holders pls do not apply Financial Dimensions :Within sanctioned Opex/ Capex budget Internal Interactions : - Material requirement and PO issuance - SCM - Upgradation of sites - Deployment Sharing - New Built sites - Deployment New - Diesel and EB issues - Energy Department - Security and Theft issues - Security Head - Legal issues - Legal Department - Estate, Owner, Rent issues - Finance and Estate team - TOC External Interactions: - Operators - SMEs - OME - Various government authorities (EB, Police, Municipal co-corporation etc.) Knowledge Required: Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical Engineering or similar Challenges: - Difficulty of the role: 24x7 Monitoring the Operation Knowledge Required : - Understanding technical know how of equipment's (DG/Battery/SMPS/PIU etc.) and telecommunication, Leadership skills, Interpersonal skills, communication skills, Honesty and integrity, self-discipline Job purpose : To monitor, manage the operations and maintenance of Tower Sites with the objective of safe operations, achieving higher uptime, optimizing energy costs, controlling OPEX.
