- Drive Sales & NOB growth, execution and maintenance of departmental merchandising plans in all store setups,Provides feedback to Departmental Buyers for use in improving plans.
- Responsible for overall Controllable Expenses consistent with budgeted guidelines. Ensure timely and correct ordering and receiving of all merchandise according to prescribed schedules.
- Drive top line sales through Up Selling, Cross Selling, Repeat selling, Store Hygiene, competition benchmarking, recommendation on changes on range planning based on customer feedbacks, providing great customer service.
- Meet standards in terms of time, documentation and Quality in all the aspects of store operations. Ensure the store associates comply with the SOPs and reinforce the need and importance of same.
- Ensure the In stock standards meet the company norms to reinforce Bharti Retail Brand in Consumer minds, by having high ordering accuracy, regular stock takes, and following the replenishment processes.
- Minimize shrinkage through coaching the team for billing accuracy, stock accuracy, making the associates vigilant about potential shoplifting cases, ensuring proper merchandise handling.
- Developing & executing effective marketing plans, including P&L structures designed to assure achievement of agreed-to volume, market share and profit objectives.
- Ensure the store and store vicinity is neat and cleans the entire time reflecting/reinforcing brand image.
- Designing & implementing sales plans and new store concepts to generate increased sales for achievement of revenue targets.
- Developing & executing effective marketing plans, including P&L structures designed to assure achievement of agreed-to volume, market share and profit objectives.
- Organizing sales promotion events in coordination with external agencies; conceptualizing visual merchandising displays, windows, POP & design of retail outlets for maintenance of a high-end store Image.
- Organizing sales promotional (ATL & BTL) activities such as campaigns and events and other branding activities as a part of product launch, brand building and market development effort.
- Conducting detailed market research with a view to collate information necessary to facilitate product development & improvement initiatives.
- Periodic review with Outsourced Agencies and Managing Concessionaires
