Title : Area Logistics Manager (Assistant Manager)

Location : Kolkata

Target Batch - 2016 - 2017 Batch only

Experience : 1-3 years in Logistics / Warehouse / Transportation from FMCG / FMCD/ Paints / Tyres / Agribusiness industry

Qualification : Full time MBA from premium Business School (IIM, ISB, XLRI, FMS, IIFT, MDI, XIM, SIBM, SCMHRD, JB, SP Jain etc)

Job Responsibilities -

1. Manage primary and secondary logistics for a particular area.

2. Direct inbound or outbound logistics operations, such as transportation or warehouse activities, safety performance, or logistics quality management.

3. Identify and onboard new vendors for better flexibility and service levels.

4. Negotiate contracts for transportation, distribution, or logistics services.

5.Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, customer issues.

6. Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes.

7. Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, customer service logs, or training or safety records.

8. Design models for use in evaluating logistics programs or services.
