Position Purpose: To Accurate underwriting of SME & Business loans

Position - Area Credit Manager - SME & Business Loan

Location-PAN India

Reporting to - ZCM

Span of Control (Geog & Nos of Reportees ) - 1-2

Specific Responsibilities

- Make optimal use of the Loan Origination System

- Maintain Credit TAT

- Manage Credit Underwriting to policy

- Monitor Delinquency and NPA to budgeted levels for the product

- Work closely with Sales team for launching New Location

- Manage Credit Cost as per approved budgets

- Give feedback to Credit Policy based on experience of underwriting

- Ensure availability and management of all Vendors

- Portfolio Quality

- Cost Management

- Implementation of Processes

- CPA, FI, Channel training

Internal - Sales, Credit Underwriting team, HR, Admin, IT

External - Customers, Agencies

APPLICANT PROFILE

Total Work Ex. in years- Minimum 6 -8 years post qualification, spread over at least 2 banks / HFCs

- Minimum one stint of regional / Zonal level, of handling a large size team

- Prior exposure to any Credit Underwriting Software

Relevant Experience in years - Minimum 8 - 10 years post qualification, spread over at least 3 banks / HFCs

- Minimum one stint of regional / zonal level, of handling a large size team

- Prior exposure to any Credit Underwriting Software

- Resale values and process of acquiring and disposal of property

- Legal provisions applicable to Property dealings / Registration / Creation and removal of mortgage / Builder approval / Project approval etc.

- Knowledge and experience of risk of Frauds related to Business Sourcing / Documentation and other types of frauds.

- Various risks associated with the product and ways to mitigate the same.
