Roles And Responsibilities

Evaluation of Credit:

- Examine LAP loan applications to make sure all information is accurate and complete.

- To evaluate borrowers' creditworthiness, repayment capacity, and financial stability, do a thorough credit study.

- Assess the property's marketability and worth before accepting it as loan security.

Risk Control:

- Apply the risk assessment and property valuation to determine the suitable loan-to-value (LTV) ratio.

- Determine any credit risks and suggest ways to reduce them.

- Keep an eye on the performance of your portfolio and act quickly to resolve any new risks or delinquencies.

Adherence to Policy:

- Make ensuring that all legal, regulatory, and internal credit policies are followed.

- In order to adjust to shifting market conditions and risk profiles, review and revise credit policies and underwriting rules as needed.

Making Choices:

- Based on analysis, risk assessment, and observance of set credit standards, make well-informed credit decisions.

- Provide suggestions for approving, rejecting, or changing credit while taking corporate goals and risk into consideration.

Relationship Administration:

- Work together with relationship and sales managers to comprehend client needs and expedite the credit approval procedure.

- Effectively inform stakeholders of credit decisions and offer advice on credit-related issues.

Record-keeping and Oversight:

- Make ensuring that loan documentation is accurate and comprehensive while following internal and regulatory requirements.

- Establish monitoring systems to keep tabs on loan performance, terms compliance, and early detection of any defaults.

Group Headship:

- Give local credit officers and analysts direction, instruction, and assistance.

- Encourage the sharing of knowledge, adherence to best practices, and ongoing improvement as a culture.
