Area Coordinator - Government Relations

Role :

- Represent Client (for now CONFIDENTIAL; India's premier Industry Body) to AP & Telangana Governments; - Go To- man for Client with these 2 Governments

- Develop and maintain relationships with Government functionaries, keep a tab on emerging or planned changes in Government's policies that would impact Client members

- Ensure that Client is invited by Government for seeking advice and/or for participation in such discussions leading to policy changes

- Persuade Government to sponsor such meetings or any other event for enabling a discussion of policy changes among a larger pool of Client members and others, too

- Work closely with Client members or other entrepreneurs

Additional Role Expectations :

- Has to be an out-going and pushy professional

Client would like professional to :

- Interact more frequently with stakeholders to develop ideas to push Client's agenda

- Be more aggressive in intensely following-up for and arranging meetings of Client stake-holders with Government functionaries

- Align with Client's priorities and facilitate achievement through Government

Candidate profile :

- Engineering Graduate is a MUST; BE + MBA most ideal

- Or any Science Graduate + MBA (especially) from ISB

- Total 5-to-8 years of experience; ~ 2 years post ISB

- Females preferred; some of them may come from NGOs involved in a fund-raising function

Compensation :

- Appropriate for candidate with right credentials; indicative annual CTC of Rs 15 Lakhs
