Position: Head Taxation

Location : Corporate office, Delhi

Industry: Manufacturing

Qualification: CA/L.L.B (mandatory)

Job responsibilities: Indirect Tax

- GST compliances i.e. GSTR1/ GSTR3B / GSTR9/ GSTR9C Returns.

- Preparing Indirect tax appeals.

- Completing GST audits and assessments in different states. Maintaining repository of documents for audit / assessments.

- Reply to SCN and other notices from tax department.

- Representing before authorities during Personal Hearing (including Appellate authorities).

- Briefing to Counsel / consultant on litigation matters.

- Co-ordinating with different departments for collation of data.

- Coordinating with statutory auditors on litigation matter.

Direct Taxation:

Co-ordinate all income tax-related activities for the company including computation of income for income tax purposes, filing of ITR, Preparing submissions and appearance before assessing officer and appellate authorities - CIT appeals, tribunal.

- Briefing and coordinating with counsels for High Court and Supreme Court matters, etc.

Calculation of Advance Tax and Self assessment tax Liability

- Participate in tax audits & engage with auditors on Companies Act related matters as required

- Transfer Pricing Audit and Documentation. Reports and documentation for exemption claims.

- Prepare Refunds and Litigation MIS

Ensure TDS Compliances. Deduction, Payment, Quarterly Returns

TDS assessments

- Ensure tax optimization

- Any related work that will arise in course of duties

Mergers & Acquisitions

- Preparing strategy for acquiring a company, structuring a deal (i.e Merger/ Demerger), sale of assets buy of assets etc, Joint Venture Formation, Technical Collaboration etc.

- Ensuring that the Mergers and Acquisition deals are carried out within the regulatory frame work of the jurisdiction under which the transaction takes place.
