VMWare Architect / AIX Architect / DB2 UDB DBA Architect / Lotus Notes Architect

We are currently hiring for Architect position for the following skills

1. AIX SME Lead - Design , Architecture experience in AIX with exp in HACMP / TSM is a lust.

Work Experience:

Overall 10+ years of Unix System Administration Experience out of which at least 4 Years as a Team lead for large unix (AIX) environment

- AIX Certification / HACMP Certification / TSM

Mandatory:

- Able to front end the technical team and be able to present to the client -

- Adequate Knowledge of UNIX/LINUX Platform, and strong fundamentals

- Strong Knowledge & Experience in AIX.

- In depth understanding of trouble shooting & AIX Commands

- Strong experience in interfacing of external devices like Storage, Networking and backup devices

- Experience on the following layered products(in two or more) of the following products is Mandatory.

- HACMP

- VIOS

- HMC/LPARs

- NIM

- SP/PSSP/CSM

- Capability to lead and plan Security setup for unix and related systems.

- Strong concepts of networking like TCP / IP

- Added experience in DCE/DFS, LDAP, Workload balancing, Power5 virtualization -

2.DB2 UDB SME Lead

- Provide all DB2 UDB Database Administration related support to all production and development environments.

- Work on databases with varying sizes from 1TB to 160 TB..

- Performed DB2 DPF configuration, installation, tuning and maintenance to manage additional database capacity requirements.

- Personally responsible for actual integration of new BCUs into the current Production system.

- Worked on Movement of Physical node in DB2 DPF from one AIX box to another.

- Provide emergency pager support during non-business hours (24x7) for business-critical issues - This includes participating in various CWT (Collaborative Work Teams) and SRT (System Restoration Teams).

- Installation and Configuration of DB2 UDB v7.2/v8.1/v8.2/v9.1/V9.5/V9.7 and related Fix-Paks and Special Builds on different platforms.

- Development and implementation of different monitoring scripts on DPF and non-DPF environment, using Shell, SED and AWK - Implemented the ouput in YODA.

- DB2 UDB backup and recovery.

- Configured HACMP, HACMP with ACR (Automatic Client Re-route),HADR, Flash Copy, SQL Replication, Q Replication, Bi-directional replication on DB2 Server

- Monitoring DB2 Databases using OEM Grid.

- HADR implementation to avoid downtime for patch implementation.

- Installation and configuration of DB2 Performance Expert

- Deploy DB2 Query Patroller to manage adhoc workload - Installed and fine tuned QP to meet SLAs.

- Database Capacity Management and planning (disk space, database growth and expansion)

- Database Performance Monitoring and Tuning - Weekly database structural and performance statistics collection.

- Database Security Maintenance.

4.VM Ware Architect

- Core experience in Virtualization

- Pre-Sales Technical Architecture & Consulting

- 10+ yrs experience in VMWare design & architecture
