- Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for our Quality Engineering organization.
- Evaluate, improve and innovate on client and backend test frameworks for a global Quality Engineering organization supporting multiple product lines and services.
- Champion automation test methodologies that are flexible/scalable and extensible, including defining the test automation process and deliverables across the development life cycle.
- Provide hands-on test automation support, teaching software developers and quality engineers test automation standards and practices.
- Identify test data and environment needs for implementing the test strategy, aligning with DevOps Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
- Design performance and monitoring testing strategies for client-facing and backend services.
- Plan, research, recommend, and model the right technical solution to meet our growing needs.
- 10+ years of software testing and quality assurance experience of SaaS solutions, in an Agile development environment
- 3 years leading a distributed team of quality engineers in an architect role while supporting highly available, scalable multi-tiered web-facing applications
- Practical experience in all types of testing including exploratory, functional and non-functional testing such as performance, reliability and security
- Experience establishing effective automation practices along with functional testing
- Experience working in an FDA regulated environment, with knowledge of validation requirements for the FDA Title 21 CFR Part 11 compliance
