Responsibilities:
The ServiceNow Capability Lead is responsible for leading the architecture, design and implementation of ServiceNow based solutions.
Activities include:
- Define and create ServiceNow offerings and capabilities including areas of ITSM, Automation and Orchestration
- Drive capability strategy, positioning, roadmaps and plans to keep offerings relevant and updated
- Drive creation of unique value propositions leveraging ServiceNow and other leading industry platforms
- Ability to translate business requirements into capabilities that can be delivered with ServiceNow and show how this can provide business benefit and value
- Maintain current and in-depth knowledge of the entire ServiceNow stack or any upcoming product line
- Ability to navigate and orchestrate the ServiceNow partner, commercial, product and user management communities
- Development of business cases and implementation road maps
- Participate in the pre-sales process to understand customer business and technical objectives and product requirements
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience of multiple ESM tools including ServiceNow and IT Service Management processes
- Hands on experience of multiple ServiceNow design and implementation projects
- Strong knowledge of all ServiceNow modules including Incident, Problem, Change, SLM, Configuration Management, Discovery, Asset Management, Service Request, Service Catalog, Automation, Orchestration, etc.
- Strong applied knowledge of ESM architecture, databases, reporting tools, middleware, security, monitoring and high availability systems
- Extensive experience in 3rd party tools integration, Web Services
- Experience with Requirements analysis and documentation, customizations, and data management including extraction, transformation and load using import sets and transform maps
- Experience in scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, PERL, etc. and configuring system elements like Business rules, User Interface and Scripts
- Strong technical solutions architect in a consulting environment, including time supporting sales and managing technical staff and implementations
- Strong presentation, executive client management and business development skills
- Ability to build and manage a global team of consultants, architects and engineers
- Project Management knowledge with formal methodologies from PMI, PRINCE2
- ITIL certifications such as ITIL V2 or V3 Foundation
