Architect - Java/J2ee - IT

Job Description: The Architect expected to map high level architectural ambiguity driven by product roadmaps to software designs resulting in highly scaleable products that will be implemented with large financial institutions around the world.

Required:

Work Experience:

- Minimum 10 years of IT experience

- 3+ years of experience in architecture and design

Academics:

- Graduate in any discipline, preferably BE

Technical skills:

- Knowledge of large enterprise architectures, SAAS

- Strong understanding of OOAD, EAI, relational database design, n-tier architecture, messaging, multi-treading

- Experience in disaster recovery, resilience and performance tuning, Scrum / Agile, Test Driven Development, Continuous Deployment / Continuous Integration

- Hands-on experience in Core Java, ESB, Camel, OSGi, Service Mix, HTML5, Angular JS, Bootstrap, WebServices

- Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins

- Sound knowledge of the software delivery methodologies and supporting tooling

- Requirements capture and analysis experience

- Software design skills through the use of UML

Tooling and products:

- UML design tools such as Enterprise Architect, Rational, Togethersoft etc

- Eclipse

- Server technologies - J2EE application servers, ESBs

- Database servers - Oracle, MS SQL etc

- Unit testing - Junit

- OS - Linux, Windows, hand held devices

General:

- Must have experience in working with global counterparts

- Strong articulation skills and an innovative thinker, enthusiastic with high energy, liking toward working in challenging environment

- Ability to appreciate different point of views and be able to authoritatively put across your point of view

- Excellent project leading skills

- Excellent communication both verbal and written skills
