Archetype Solutions Group - Director - Engineering

THE JOB :

Archetype Solutions Group (ASG) is a US-based, high growth venture investment firm and management consultancy. As ASG's Director of Engineering in India, you will have the unique opportunity to build an amazing team that will be our South Asian counterpart. Upon mobilization, your office/team will develop and maintain software products/solutions for our ventures and partners in healthcare, finance, and insurance. In addition to leading ODC solutions delivery, you will collaborate with our stateside leadership as well as our partner ecosystem to continually innovate how we build and deliver solutions.

Total compensation is INR 1 CR+.

Our consulting work specializes in bringing infrastructure-focused innovation to enterprises in the middle market. Our venture finance and shared services arm identifies opportunities to partner with clients and create products adjacent to their current offerings or industries. Our partnerships and portfolio leverage our experience with analytics, product development, and business strategy to drive rapid growth.

Our team is made up of former management consultants, financial analysts, data scientists, and developers who advance a portfolio of companies through strong systems. We break the normal grind to rapidly develop innovative solutions and passionately pursue entrepreneurship across the healthcare, finance, and insurance industries.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Build a culture of excellence and enjoyment to collaborate with ASG's US-based teams

- Independently lead strategy and decision-making processes for ASG India team based on sound judgment and data

- Hire new talent to build a team of 50+ in two years

- Lead and manage the software development and BPO team

- Ensure process and quality standards are achieved within work teams

- Oversee execution and delivery of high-quality software products from end to end

- Provide direction, coaching, and guide career development for the reporting team

- Serve as escalation point for roadblocks slowing down or impeding delivery objectives

- Monitor local expenses in conjunction with other support services like HR, admin, hardware support, finance, etc.

- Occasional international travel

QUALIFICATIONS :

- 12+ years of demonstrated leadership experience in Information Technology with an emphasis on software development

- Seasoned solution architect

- Experience with managing ODC operations

- Experience working with US organizations

- Extraordinary communication (oral and written)

- Results driven and strong accountability

- Practical experience in leading technical teams with extensive knowledge of SDLC and IT project management processes

- Based in Hyderabad or willing to relocate immediately
