Apttus - .Net Architect - Product Development

BRIEF DESCRIPTION :

This person will be responsible for designing and developing enterprise software applications for Apttus suite of products for customers. Person would also involve in brainstorming session and developing product to realize business requirement. This would involve understanding business requirements and translating them to core product deliverable. We are looking for a talented individual with excellent analytical, problem solving skills,

DESCRIPTION :

- Understand business requirements from product managers

- Design and implement product from scratch and build enhancements, bug fixes and features requests

- Manage design trade-offs and keep various stakeholders updated

- Assist in the rollout, maintenance, and ongoing administration of the enterprise software product and support.

- Thorough with unit testing and code coverage. Help in hiring, coaching and scaling team(s) of engineers

- Builds prototypes of software applications and solutions as needed.

- Designs and develops conceptual and technical designs, and leads hands-on implementation of solutions

- Provides oversight, guidance and mentoring to engineering, web development, quality engineering, and release management teams

- Supports and contributes to existing DevOps processes

Job Requirements :

- Excellent debugging skills

- Experience working in microservices based architecture and proposing solution using same

- Good understanding of HTTP and other networking protocol

- Good understanding of MVC and API based design

- Good understanding of SOLID Principles

- Good understanding of common algorithms and data structures

- Good understanding of various testing strategies

- Good understanding of CI/CD and big proponent of same

- Development experience on MS Azure platform will be preferred.

- Experience working in distributed teams

- Enjoy doing code & design reviews, mentoring team members on technologies.

- Ability to build credibility with senior engineers and senior management; able to earn and sustain the respect of highly technical professionals.

- Experience in performance tuning of a distributed .NET based application

- Bachelor's degree in engineering desired; advanced degree preferred

- Minimum work experience of 13+ years with .NET Framework 4.0 and above.

- Ability to perform in extremely dynamic environment with Agile development approach.

- Experience in multiple estimation techniques
