The Opportunity: - In this newly created Learning &amp; Talent Development India Site Lead / Program Manager role, we are looking for a seasoned, senior learning &amp; development people leader and business operator to build strong global working relationships, partnering closely with India leadership, People &amp; Culture, Learning, CX operations and internal teams to identify, prioritize, build/schedule, program manage, deploy, evaluate and track all training/learning streams for our growing India team and operation (ie. company onboarding, CX learning &amp; enablement, employee learning, team leader &amp; manager training and leadership development). - The successful candidate will be a strong learning advisor and business partner, who is an effective people leader, operator, facilitator and learning coach. You will mentor, coach, develop and lead one Learning &amp; Talent Development Specialist in a rapid growth environment, operating strategically and tactically as the India representative on a global learning team working to identify, oversee, build, manage and deliver a globally consistent and locally harmonized approach to Company's onboarding, employee, management and leadership development programming. - The ideal candidate is a strong relationship builder with a bias for action, who effectively communicates and works seamlessly across cultures and geographies to gain support for and deliver global learning programming and development solutions to protect and strengthen our culture and create a winning Company employee experience globally. You have strong experience building and leading in-person leadership development workshops, team development initiatives, virtual learning events and on-demand learning resources. - This is an exciting strategic and hands-on execution opportunity to help one of Canada's fastest-growing EdTech firms to enable our managers, leaders and teams by creating/deploying the global learning programs, tools, technology, processes and experiences which help our leaders keep pace with the continued growth of the business, strengthening our culture and creating a winning Company employee experience. What will you do? - Member of global Learning &amp; Talent Development team who partners closely with India senior leadership, senior leaders, People &amp; Culture (HRBPs), managers and teams, building a clear understanding of the key challenges, training needs and skill gaps facing our leaders and team members throughout this period of hyper growth - Conducts learning needs assessment to identify, plan, design/deploy and evaluate scalable Company onboarding and learning development programming in partnership with global learning &amp; talent development. - Works in partnership with peers and senior leaders across each key business unit to identify key performance, skills &amp; knowledge gaps, prioritizing actions and creating business-driven development solutions - Program manager for all India training, employee development and leadership/management development programming; - You will drive the development, implementation and adoption of digital learning - Conduct post training periodic assessments, ghost audits and evaluations - Accountable for prioritizing, scheduling, delivering, embedding, tracking and reporting on all development activity for India, in concert with global learning team. - Assesses learning and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers, facilitators/trainers, and subject matter experts. - Facilitates in-person and virtual leadership development workshops, management development courses and programs using a variety of instructional formats including group discussion, case study, business simulations, lecture, videos to ensure engagement, knowledge transfer and measurable skill development take place - Coaches leaders to live our company values and culture, deliver A+ customer experiences and employee experiences and help their team members grow - Trained and certified to coach and debrief personal psychometric profile reports (ie. DISC) and facilitate team effectiveness workshops, an asset - Evaluate the business impact of leadership programs using learning and performance metrics; tracks training activity in global LMS (Workday) - Maintains current knowledge of trends and research in learning &amp; education sector What you bring to the table: - 8 to 12 years experience in leadership development, L&amp;D operations management, management training, learning design and program delivery. - Prior experience leading digital learning initiatives, implementing or administering training in Learning Management System/LMS (Workday) - Strong business acumen with excellent communication skills; operates well across geographies. - Bachelor's/PG degree in Human Resource Management, Adult Training &amp; Development, Organizational Behaviour, Psychology, Education or equivalent - Experience in a hyper-growth, fast scaling technology organization a strong asset - Prior people management experience is an asset. - Strong consulting experience with ability to influence and manage upwards. - Proven expertise conducting learning needs assessments, analyzing and prioritizing manager and leadership development needs linked to needed business outcomes - Certified in psychometric assessment tools an asset (ie. DISC, Insights Discovery, MBTI) - Works well in hyper-growth environments; executes within ambiguity. - Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods. - Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives. - Ability to design and implement effective learning and development experiences. - Extremely proficient with Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools and/or software.
