Reporting To : Development Leader

Key Responsibilities:

- Align Technology Vision with Business Strategy by integrating company process with the appropriate latest technologies. Responsible for all aspects of developing and implementing technology initiatives within the organization.

- Designing, building and delivering scalable innovative business solutions, focusing on advanced technical strategies, business process design, application development and technical architecture.

- Creating Technical Architecture Documents and create technical proposals for small and large projects.

- Decide on the Technology Stack depending on the requirement and drive the architecture finalization effort. Able to understand the current client landscape, drive the coding of proof of concepts without anyone's help (Real hands on experience), if required, identify the re-usable components, employ best practices towards this effort.

- Working closely with clients to help define Business and Technical requirements.

- Participate in Technical discussions; help drive key architectural and design decisions Experience working with High availability services (system sizing, monitoring, recovery, user friendly interface, etc) Good analytical skills and aptitude.

- Responsible for selecting the right technology and tools for business solutions, including open source tools and plug-in components and software.

- Responsible for coordinating work efforts between distributed team both onsite and offshore.

- Provides overall strategic direction, vision, and guidance.

- Responsible for tracking the Deliverables. Provide guidance to the project team as a mentor.

- Ensuring that the solution is of acceptable quality in compliance with all the all business & security compliance & regulations.

Desired Skills:

- Must possess very strong technical skills. Successfully designed and implemented large sized high-performance and scalable enterprise solutions.

- Must have good knowledge of tools, technologies, and design patterns used to design and implement all aspects of large enterprise solutions, including services, security, integration etc.

- Experience in scaling web applications to tens of thousands of users.

- Experience with database design and replication.

- Experience designing applications for cloud deployment.

- Experience developing J2EE application and some of the open source web development libraries.

- Experience with some combination of Tomcat, Websphere, DB2, MySQL, PostgreSQL.

- Must have expertise in SOA (Service-oriented architecture).

- Must have expertise in Business Analysis and Business Process Modeling.

- Must have very good knowledge of open source products and solutions.

- Must understand trends in technology and be able leverage them in technical solutions.

- Must be able to design and implement frameworks for technical solutions.

Preferred Skills:

- GUI Design experience.

- Must have good written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate all aspects of a project solution with managers, account managers, client and project team.

- Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities which can execute effective negotiation and team management skill.

- .Net experience.

Technical Skills:

- Programming Languages: Java 5+, C, C++, SQL

- Web Technologies & Framework: JEE 1.5+ technologies, SOA, Spring, Servlets,, BizTalk, AJAX, HTML, XML, JSP, Java Script, DOJO

- Mobile Application - Knowledge of iOS, Android SDK, Objective C, Hybrid Mobile Apps, PhoneGap

- Design Tools: Rational Rose, Visio 2000, Erwin

- Content Management: Teamsite, Livesite, Filenet

- Development Methodologies: Agile, RUP, TDD, Waterfall

- App & Web server: Websphere, WebLogic, Tomcat, Apache
