PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES - List each with corresponding tasks and % of time on one line.

Write a brief description for each principal responsibility (generally 6 - 8) and rank by % of time. Begin each with an action verb. Design and develop technical solutions to build new or enhance existing software in accordance with departmental development standards meeting business needs. 50%

Drive decision making on technology, designs, weighing pros and cons of multiple options.

Driving migration of applications to newer or better software and taking ownership of enforcement on team.

Testing the effectiveness of the coded solutions and systems

Methodology involvement by continuous monitoring and improvement for better delivery

Supporting initiatives to improve existing technology and tools used in the organization.

Collaborate with product/development manager to deliver production ready software 10%

REQUIRED SKILLSET, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREFERRED SKILLSET, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Certification :

Education : Degree Bachelor Master or Advanced

Field of Study IT, Computer Science

Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience in software development

Technical Skills "CORE Java, OOPs, SQL, Enterprise Java (JEE), J2EE (Spring, Hibernate), XML, JDBC, Web services, Ant/Maven,

One or more source code repository like SVN, GIT, TFS etc.

Strong on Web Services and UML design patterns.

Strong understanding and working knowledge of complex database.

N-tier Architectures, Continuous Integration, Source Control, Scrum / Agile development methodologies.

Working knowledge or understanding of SPA architecture is a big plus
