Manager/ Sr. Manager - Analytics & Risk

Job Description:

a. Develop and enhance the Credit Risk Modelling (Across Credit Lifecycle) & Monitoring

b. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of Credit Risk models / reports

c. Create documents and presentations for all analytics projects that fall under ownership

d. Raise challenges/issues in a timely fashion to Manager / Stakeholders, and adjust plans to overcome unexpected challenges

e. Ability to work independently and bring newer ideas

f. Keep up with academic literature and industry best practice and experiment with new methods to improve current solutions or develop new ones

g. Manage portfolio quality along with preparation of various portfolio cuts & risk metrics

h. Work alongside seniors on various internal automation of workflows from credit & risk perspective

Skills Required:

a. Good understanding of credit risk products, credit risk policy, process and analytics for retail and/or wholesale financial services industry

b. Strong programming skills in utilizing tools like Python, R, SAS to manipulate data and conduct statistical analysis

c. Experience developing building either Credit Bureau Scores (Bankruptcy, Insolvency, Delinquency), Credit Risk Scorecards (Account Origination, Portfolio Management, PD, EAD, LGD) or Marketing Scores (Response, Acquisition, Cross-Sell, Up-Sell, Retention), using structured/un-structured and internal/external data sources

d. Proficient with advanced excel & power point skills

e. Good presentation skills with command over spoken & written English

Qualification & Experience:

a. Preferably 4-5 years of experience in credit/ risk function in banks/ NBFCs/ financial services industry

b. Masters in Statistics, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Econometrics, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
