Role: General Manager - Finance

Role Summary - As GM - Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of Antara Senior Living and its subsidiary company. As a strategic financial partner to management, your role would include (but not limited to ) monitoring the complete F&A function, keeping a close eye on the revenue and cost, 100% compliance of statutory financial closures, Business planning and strategy, procurement, external and internal governance, liaison & networking with right stakeholders and authorities as an when needed, and making decisions based on the company's financial stability and growth plans..

Key Accountabilities:

- Governance: Monitoring and Validating financials including designing and implementing adequate internal controls to ensure timely and accurate closing of books of accounts, reporting of the financial results, all tax compliances, direct and indirect, and ensuring clean audit reports quarter on quarter and year end closure.

- Budgeting, Controls, and Forecasting: Formulation of the annual budget. Ensuring that variances are appropriately monitored, and that effort is undertaken operationally for the improvement of performance and monitoring of the same. Ensuring top quality delivery within Financial Accounting, compliances, and reporting.

- Financial forecasting and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting. Advising the management on long-term business and financial planning. Reporting financial status, results, analyzing variances and developing improvements.

- Taxation and Treasury: Ensuring that all operational taxation and treasury activities are handled. Partnering with consultants and internal team to ensure that taxation is leveraged appropriately to ensure strategic savings for the business. Additionally managing the Banking and Investor relations.

Desired Candidate Profile

As the successful candidate, you should be a CA with 8-12 years of experience (additional degree of MBA would enhance the credentials) working as senior finance professional/ financial controller at any reputed organization, looking after Governence, finance and commercial aspects who have independently handled closures of all statutory financial reporting and tax compliances.

Required Skills/Abilities:

- Excellent knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, Companies, Income Tax and GST Acts

- Excellent managerial and supervisory skills.

- Proficient in database and accounting computer application systems.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
