Global Operating Leader – Research and Analytics

Primary Purpose: Be a lead delivery business partner and change catalyst in the organization by augmenting the operational efficacies and customer delight in technology enabled research and analytics services domain, thus enabling the organization to expand the business horizon with its existing as well as new customer base.

Key Accountabilities /Activities:

Mentor and Guide as Lead SME in Research and Analytics:

- Mentor and guide team in modeling techniques such as Structural Equation Modeling, Market Mix Modeling, Segmentation techniques, Multivariate techniques, Panel regression and other data analytics tools etc.

- Mentor and guide teams in application of statistical techniques to model customer satisfaction and loyalty.

- Mentor and guide teams survey analytics – Questionnaire designing, sampling, modeling survey data to answer business questions and in developing text mining algorithms and other Analytical tools.

- Mentor and guide teams on consumer behavior insights creation, survey analytics, applied statistics and development of Analytical products.

- Effectively build and augment the research analytics capability of the organization through internal and external talent pool.

- Create and sustain a dynamic environment that fosters development opportunities and motivates high performance amongst employees

- Facilitate employee committees and cross functional teams and other process engagements like Annual PMS, Training need identification and analysis.

Client Servicing and CRM

- Working with the clients to develop an in-depth understanding of their requirements and based on the requirements, ensuring requisite Processes & Quality Control procedures are implemented to meet the client requirements

- Ensuring continuous interaction with the customers, aimed at understanding any concern areas and working on identified areas to develop & implement effective plans to improve on those areas

- Ensuring proper Management Controls are in place to track all client deliverables

- Taking escalations for resolving critical issues; ensuring CTQ Delivery & Business Continuity.

- Driving a culture of customer delight in the teams aimed at providing the customer with the best service experience in every transaction handled by the team

- Working with the client on identifying areas of additional business opportunities and putting requisite plans in place for Transition/Ramp Up Quality and compliance

- Conceptualize and implement audit mechanisms for ensuring accuracy of data collated by the MIS function

- Ensuring requisite Quality Control Mechanisms are in place for detecting process defects, prior to delivery to the client

- Ensuring proper mechanisms are in place for Identifying Error Trends, and based on trending, required trainings/support is provided to the teams in a timely manner

- Periodic reviewing of Quality & Effectiveness of Process Training Material & Trainings provided, with the Training Team, aimed at ensuring Quality of Training is maintained and improved

- Ensuring audit mechanisms are in place for gauging Process Compliance levels, and putting requisite plans in place to drive compliance based on audit findings.

Work Relations:

Internal:

- Reporting to Chief Operating Officer for all functional as well as admin issues.

- Interfacing with all service level heads and managers based out of India as well as other global offices. (24 X 7 work environment).

- Interfacing with Business development, FWP team members and software development teams of for all functional as well as operational issues.

- Interfacing with Finance, Technology, HR for any people or any other operational issues.

External:

- Interface with potential and existing clients.

Qualification:

- MBA from a premier institute having hands on exposure on working with various analytical tools. Statistical background shall be preferred.

Experience: 12-15 Yrs, primarily in managing large operational teams in market research and analytics space.

Expected Competencies:

A. Expertise in Consumer Behavior research, Market Research, Survey Analytics, Applied Statistics, and Analytical Modeling.

B. Effective people skills as well as networking skills.

C. Skilled communicator capable of interacting and influencing people-cutting across hierarchical levels in an organization with ease and having effective presentation skills.

D. Adept at modeling techniques such as Structural Equation Modeling, Market Mix Modeling, Segmentation techniques, Multivariate techniques, Panel regression etc.

E. Proven expertise in survey analytics – Questionnaire designing, sampling, and modeling survey data to answer business questions.

F. Proficiency in Analytics & Market Research with good understanding of industry dynamics and hands-on experience.

G. Capable of mentoring teams on the application of Statistical tools and techniques for solving business problems.
