Position: Head of Export (DGM/AGM)
Location: Noida
Exp: Min 12 Yrs. of Exp(Food Industry Only),Candidate should have the area knowledge of Mina Region, Asia, Africa, Latin America.
Qualification: MBA (International Trade)
Purpose of the Role: Drive the export function to ensure increased international presence for the Anmol brand.
Education requirements:
- Bachelors in Science/Commerce/Arts
- Masters/MBA in management, specialization in international studies./business preferred
Reporting structure:
- Reports directly to President, Sales
- Manage a team of xx individuals
Background & Experience:
- 15-18 years of experience in export business especially in FMCG sector
- Experience in biscuits and bakery preferred
- Strong connections with international vendors especially in Europe, Africa and UAE
- Leadership experience in export domain
Skills, Abilities & Know how:
- Strong expertise and knowledge in building international businesses
- Deep knowledge about international trade policies, transaction rules, government regulations, etc.
- Connections with vendors, distributors etc. in the international markets
- Proficiency in managing vendor relationships, negotiation skills, etc.
- Strong cross-functional collaborative abilities
- Strong hold on strategic planning and vision
- Deep analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong leadership, inter-personal and communication skills
Tasks & Accountabilities:
- Lead the export function and set-up team to handle expansion of business in current and new geographies and new channels
- Review current business strategy and devise strategies for expansion in current geographies and channels to ensure increased market share for Anmol
- Identify new geographies for targeted interventions and create strategies to setup businesses there
- Create sales strategy with targeted product-mix, pricing strategies to ensure increased market presence for Anmol in all geographies
- Regularly review sales target and plan for risk mitigation for both direct and partnered export
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as operations, purchase, marketing, finance to ensure alignment with overall Anmol vision for international markets as well
- Build extensive distribution, vendor and customer network in all targeted geographies and channels
- Devise negotiation strategies with vendors and distributors to ensure best values for all stakeholders
- Collaborate with marketing team to conduct regular customer insight surveys, studies, etc. and build branding strategies accordingly
- Regularly review government regulations, audit policies, transaction guidelines to ensure complete adherence to norms
- Ensure regular review of documentations, certifications, etc. to assure lawful execution of all export activities
- Build best-in class team to execute sales in current and new geographies
- Work with HR team to define KPI/KRA for the team and conduct regular performance reviews
