Duties and responsibilities: - Lead Online Product Vision for different functional areas and translate vision into business results: - Establish and drive the product strategy and vision for an e-Commerce site - Define and manage the product roadmap and release plan for those focus areas and manage expectations with all relevant stakeholders, including the senior leadership team. - Proactively identify gaps in the current e-Commerce product offering and lead the effort to develop solutions that drive business value. - Synthesize product requirements from a variety of internal and external resources, including various cross-functional teams. - Generate new product ideas, research/ analyze their feasibility and business impact, and then lead the implementation of those ideas by collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Merchandising, IT, Marketing etc. - Conduct user research and usability studies to understand how customers are interacting with the product and develop enhancements based on the results/ analysis. - Ensure a healthy level of consistency for the team in terms of direction and prioritization by ensuring the backlog is groomed and prioritized according to the overall strategy and product roadmap. - Collaborate with User Experience team on wireframes and UI designs that support the product requirements. - Work with Marketing, UX, Analytics, IT and Merchandising team to improvise the functionalities on the website, manage categorization of products in order to enhance visibility and hence increase sales. - Work closely with ecommerce operational teams to develop and enhance workflow processes and maximize the potential of existing product capabilities. - Administer &amp; advise on new product development and growth opportunities with aid of market and competitor analysis. - Identify key success metrics for the product (and features) and ensure that instrumentation has been adequately implemented. - Analyze product performance and customer feedback post-launch, and respond quickly to diagnose and correct problems. - Determines customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information. Desired Skills &amp; Experience Education: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences, Technology, Business Management or equivalent experience. - MBA from premier institute - A diploma course in jewelry/ fashion stream would be an added advantage Experience: - 3 + years of progressively increasing responsibility within an Online environment (web, digital, e-commerce, etc.) with a primary focus on Product Management. - Demonstrated success in defining and launching excellent products, its establishment as a known Brand. - Candidates with basic knowledge of Gemstone and Diamond Jewelry products would be preferred. Updated knowledge of fine jewelry trends in USA and an international market would be an added advantage. - Extensive understanding of US retail ecommerce landscape, including - best practices- features and functionalities. - Experienced in developing business cases and strategic planning - Understanding of A/B testing design and execution - Understanding of web technology fundamentals - Passion for creating best user experience. - Knowledge of site analytics tools such as Omniture or Google Analytics. - Ideal candidate will be comfortable with managing and analyzing large volumes of complex data and presenting the findings to senior leadership to shape the product
