General Summary of the Profile :   The Product Manager would be responsible for complete product life cycle, where in he/she will collaborate closely with the stakeholders to identify, define, and design solutions to improve user growth, product discovery, data science, machine learning & search quality and the customer experience. Collaborate with the teams to translate vision into solutions which will drive business results.   Duties and Responsibilities :  - Lead Online Product Vision for different functional areas and translate vision into business results:  - Establish and drive the product strategy and vision for e-Commerce site   - Responsible for Product discovery, Search, User Recommendations and Personalization for ecommerce business.  - Define and manage the product roadmap spanning across desktop, mobile and tablet platforms. Release plan for focus areas and manage expectations with all relevant stakeholders, including the senior leadership team.  - Proactively identify gaps in the current e-Commerce product offering and lead the effort to develop solutions that drive business value.   - Synthesize product requirements from a variety of internal and external resources, including various cross-functional teams.   - Generate new product ideas, research/ analyze their feasibility and business impact, and then lead the implementation of those ideas by collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Merchandising, IT, Marketing etc.  - Conduct user & site search analysis and usability studies to understand how customers are interacting with the product and develop enhancements based on the results/ analysis.  - Ensure a healthy level of consistency for the team in terms of direction and prioritization by ensuring the backlog is groomed and prioritized according to the overall strategy and product roadmap.  - Work with Marketing, UX, Analytics, IT, Data Scientists and Merchandising team to improvise the functionalities on the website.   - Ensuring Data Science & Machine Learning is used to enhance consumer buying experience - Focused on extracting business value out of Artificial Intelligence algorithms.  - Collaborate with User Experience team on wireframes and UI designs that support the product requirements.  - Responsible for metrics for the product (and features) and ensure that instrumentation has been adequately implemented.  - Analyze product performance and customer feedback post-launch, and respond quickly to diagnose and correct problems.  - Determines customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.  Qualification:  - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences, Technology, Business Management or equivalent experience.  - MBA from premier institute  Required Skills and Experience :  - 5 + years of progressively increasing responsibility within an - Online environment (e-commerce) with a primary focus on Product Management.  - Demonstrated success in defining and launching excellent products, its establishment as a known Brand (US Brand is preferred)-   - Extensive understanding of US retail ecommerce landscape, including - best practices- features and functionalities.   - Experienced in developing business cases and strategic planning  - Understanding of A/B testing design and execution  - Strong analysis skills & deep understanding of web technology fundamentals  - Passion for creating best user experience.  - Knowledge of site analytics tools such as Omniture or Google Analytics.  - Ideal candidate will be comfortable with managing and analyzing large volumes of complex data and presenting the findings to senior leadership to shape the product.  Preferred Skills :  - Candidates with basic knowledge of Gemstone and Diamond Jewelry products would be preferred. Updated knowledge of fine jewelry trends in USA and international market would be an added advantage.  Soft Skills:  - Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills  - Ability to think, strategically and execute methodically.  - Excellent writing, speaking, and presentation skills  - Strong interpersonal skills, with demonstrated relationship-management skills, and a proven track record of delivering results and influencing both within and outside the organization.  - Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do what is necessary to accomplish goals.  - Strong Creative skills with ability to think out of the box
