Analytics/Statistics - Bank

Urgent requirement with an international Bank

Skills:

Basic understanding of business and economic statistics and how they are used in risk management principles

Proven quantitative skills at a sufficiently advanced level to enable gaining a working understanding of the various models used to assess individual and portfolio-level measures

Experience in bank stress testing including loss and risk estimation techniques

Ability to manage all aspects of systems projects, when necessary. This involves planning, execution and reporting across multiple platforms

Manage multiple tasks concurrently in an efficient and effective manner with minimal supervision

Detailed understanding of relational databases and high level of proficiency in data analysis of large data sets.

Knowledge of SQL is preferred

Familiarity with S-Plus and SAS is preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with clients and management, both verbally and written
