Analytics - SAS Developer - SQL/ETL

Data

A typical day will involve using SAS and SAS DI to write tools, processes and solve problems. We use multiple other tools including Unix scripts and Cronacle for automation and are migrating our product towards SAND technology for dramatic end user performance improvements. Depending on experience, responsibilities can also include client communication, requirements gathering and associated documentation and design. We will give every employee as much responsibility as they prove they can handle, and their career and worth to dunnhumby will increase at the same rate.

The successful candidate will be able to work with minimal guidance and will have a strong sense of ownership to get his and his team’s responsibilities delivered to agreed timescales, providing relevant, unsolicited progress updates to all key stakeholders.

KNOWLEDGE/ WORK EXPERIENCE

Essential

- Proven experience of working with Data

- SAS or Unix or other Scripting Skills

- Efficient programming practices

- Understand the data warehouse development lifecycle

Desirable

- ETL tool experience

- Oracle ExaData

- SQL

- Analytical Aptitude

- Process improvement
