Analytics Role - R/SAS - BFSI Domain - IIT Mumbai Only

We are looking out for candidates who are into Analytics from IIT B school only for one of our client in analytics in Gurgaon.

BTech or Masters from IIT's only required.

Analytics experience is required.

Statistical tool - R is Must/ SAS

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 1- 2 years relevant experience into Analytics.

Job Description:

- Develop analytical work products like profiling output, data quality reports, presentation decks for key projects in which Vendor's teams are involved

- Building out new dashboards, analytical tools for the client

- Re-engineer the any existing production report codes, databases to make BAU work more efficient, automated and drive delivery of productivity gains for the client

- Redesign the data to make it more flexible and expandable to include additional analysis

- Conduct complex adhoc analysis in faster turnaround time

- Develop data dictionaries and other master documentation for the analytic work products and data assets

- Further the knowledge of specific tools / platforms like R etc. in Vendor's team

- Mentor and guide junior Vendor analysts in technical / statistical areas

- Proficient in R and use of tools like Hue

Role Requirement:

- Individual Contributor role for developing new and enhancing existing risk scorecards (application, behavior, collections/recovery etc.) or Marketing Analytics modeling (customers targeting)

- Exposure in Online / Digital analytics & Text Mining

- Should have 2-3 of experience

- Experience on Segmentation, Decision Trees

- Understand the statistical concepts of variable imputation, variable reduction, multi-colinearity, bootstrapping etc.

- Create and maintain detailed model documentation

- Researching and applying new statistical techniques to improve predictive power of models

- Develop and maintain a relationship with business stakeholders

Industry experience

- Banking, Credit Cards, Marketing Analytics, Credit Risk Modeling

- Banking domain is a must

- Experience on working with Machine Learning techniques (Support Vector Machines, Genetic Algorithms, Random Forests, K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm, Principal Component analysis etc.)

- Minimum 3 years of experience in building models (data cleaning, dependent variable selection, independent variable study and understanding, variable reduction, bivariate analysis, variables grouping, logistic/linear model build, model validation, KS/Lift study/PSI etc.)

Education / Tool experience

- Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field from tier 1 colleges

- Consultant if from IIT

- Sound Knowledge of SAS, SQL and other analytical tools (R, SPSS)Proficiency in MS Excel

- Knowledge of MS Access, SQL & Visual Basic will be an advantage

- Good written and oral communication skills

- Time management skills to ensure internal/external expectations are met

- Strong Mathematical & Analytical ability/ skills
