Analytics Role - Insurance (2-13 yrs)
- Practical experience with GIT and SCM tools, with the knowledge of how to properly pull code and resolve conflicts appropriately.
- Enough practical technical experience to be able to dig in, understand, and extract business logic from:
- SAS applications
- Excel spreadsheets and the macros behind them
- MS Access databases and the queries, macros, scripts that make them run
- Strong SQL is a must.
- Python, Java - nice to have, but not necessary
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the confidence to implement
- Someone who can offer ideas on how to make the changes or try some things first.
- Curiosity in an Ambiguity
- Based on existing data find a new source and 'replicate' the logic for extracting and transforming the data to the desired result
- Leadership, both from a project/story perspective and from a technical perspective.
