The position will be responsible for leading a team of analysts who would work on collection, analysis and reporting of sales performance related data in an ongoing effort to increase overall sales productivity.
Some of the key responsibilities would be:
- Business Performance Analytics: Develops and tracks key performance indicators – this enhances and improves the velocity of decision making. Formulates hypothesis around key performance levers like margins, revenue growth, cross-sell etc. Test the hypothesis using data from sources like SAP, CRM, TPI Deals Index etc
- Funnel Tracking and Reporting:
- Tracking large deals and drawing analytics & trends and thus looking at sales performance and reporting the same to the top management
- Collect, analyze, evaluate sales pipeline and report in order to increase sales productivity
- Collect sales records & trends and evaluate performance measured against sales targets
- Account Segmentation:
- Leading Annual Account Segmentation Exercise: Identifying key accounts after target setting and publishing and maintaining the list across HCL. Driving the benefits program for key accounts.
- Identifying Global accounts (typically multi-country multi service line 100 Mn + accounts) and reviewing the same throughout the year and resolving the ways of working issues for these accounts
- Top Management Decision Support Analytics:
- Assist senior management with various data analytics and thus helping in strategic decision making
- Provide customized reporting to top management. Develop dashboards wherever required.
- Supporting in Board Meeting presentation with all sales related data and analytics
- Assisting vertical and horizontal leadership teams within HCL with various sales performance requests
- Implement best in class tools like Business Objects, SPSS etc which help in improving reporting
Job Requirements:
- MSc/ M.Stat (Statistics) or Masters in Business Administration with strong quantitative modeling skills
- 5-7 years of relevant professional experience
- Preferably from a sales excellence, sales enablement/operations background. Understanding of sales cycle and IT outsourcing industry
- High proficiency in Excel (expert level required: creating pivot tables, charts, macros, developing formulas: lookup, financial, logical, information, statistical, etc.)
- Excellent planning, analytical and quantitative skills
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be able to interact with all levels of management and sales team
- Self-starter with ability to manage processes with limited supervision
- High degree of flexibility
