Analytics & BI Transformation Role - Risk & Business Analytics - Bank

JOB SUMMARY:

He/She will primarily responsible for leading Business Information enablement, creation of risk mart, bureau & partner data, data/analytics enablement tools & technologies. Deep involvement in transformation projects in digital/data/analytics with working with technology and big data teams.

Advanced analytics use cases to full, end-to-end data and analytics transformations. Work will be focused on improving the business &risk performance with a combination of advanced analytics, tool-development capabilities, and process/ change management expertise.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The person will work at the intersection of technology, analytics, data science and traditional business knowledge working together as a leading developing data capabilities of the bank for analytics.

- Transform Analytics & BI-DW processes/delivery by leading projects, working cross-functionally

- Focal point for data SPOC & analytics data enablement for Analytics function

- Creation & enhancement of Analytical & data infrastructure by working along with relevant teams and owning processes and data as appropriate

- Lead creation of risk marts, putting together disparate data sets and streamlining analytics flow

- Leverage analytics & related technology to deliver business transformations. Key role in shaping big data technology and advanced analytics mindset and capabilities

- Create systems, processes & work with technology teams to convert complex data/outputs into easily digestible action items within a business context

- Work closely with analytics leads, data scientists, data engineers, technology and business leads to develop sustainable and scalable solutions

BACKGROUND OF THE CANDIDATE:

- At least a bachelor's degree in Comp Science, Data, Mathematics, Ops Research, or other related fields. MBA/PG is preferred. Technology, products & projects experience is plus

- In depth understanding of Analytics, DS, BI-DW & big data technologies and platforms

- Should have done transformational analytics roles with exposure to various analytics and satellite technology and delivery e.g. risk infrastructure, campaign analytics, scorecard hosting

- Should have knowledge of various banking systems and data processes around them

- 8-10 years of overall experience in applying advanced analytics to solve business problems

- Good to understand at least one of data architecture and database systems used in a large organization: SQL, Cloudera Hadoop, BI transformations, Campaign datamarts, risk data etc.

SKILLS:

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to disaggregate issues, identify root causes and link analytics to derive solutions

- Experience in machine learning techniques i.e. Regression, Decision Trees, Random Forest etc

- Expertise with at least one of Data Science programming language: Python, R, MATLAB, and SAS.

- Excellent communication, presentation, effectively communicate analytical and technical content

- Strong critical thinking and ability to influence

- Collaborative team player, capable of working well with others and autonomously
