Role Title Business Analyst /System Analyst

Exp- 3- 8 Yrs

Role purpose

- This role will identify, gather and document business requirements and map them to Workday functional specifications.

- As part of the HR Shared Services team you will work in partnership with central HRIT team based out of U.K. and other stakeholders globally to support the roll out of the Workday application in overseas markets over several months

- This role must provide Workday HR functional knowledge to the Helpdesk team and support them to resolve any escalated issues.

- Play a key role in developing the future roadmap of our HR systems,

- through on-going maintenance and continuous improvement, ensure systems remain at the forefront of thinking to act as a true business enabler.

Key accountabilities

- Work with HR Shared Service Centre leadership to identify, configure and implement new or modified workflow for the existing production system.

- Work independently with users to define concepts and under direction of project manager

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the HRSSC practises, processes and systems.

- Establish relationships with other HR teams to understand their processes and HR systems

- Partner with people and change management teams to identify impact of process/technical changes

- Assist with testing, tracking defects/tickets, and other project needs throughout the development life cycle.

- Deliver high level of client service through responsiveness and accuracy when working with HR business partners for resolving issues in the Workday environment

- Provide feedback from local HR Teams to the HR technology programme team

- Analyse and make recommendations on system design to the HR Technology Design Authority

- Develop and manage a schedule of meetings with global HR stakeholders to ensure appropriate 2-way feedback

- Leverage your commercial skills to keep abreast of market developments in a way that will provide broader client insight to drive continuous improvement across all our HR systems

Experience and personal qualities

- Degree educated in a relevant business or technical discipline

- A lateral and inquisitive mind that allows you to challenge thinking and demonstrated experience in being able to translate customer requirements into tangible and beneficial business processes

- A minimum 3 years to 8 years experience in a similar role where you have also held responsibility for system maintenance and implementation.

- Able to troubleshoot independently and make recommendations on solutions with minimal supervision

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally at all levels

- Strong relationship skills that allow you to manage multiple relationships and influence with impact.

- Demonstrated experience with Workday, including hands on experience with implementing Workday configurations

- Experience in documenting current and future state process flows, eliciting and documenting system change requirements, identifying and evaluating alternative solutions.

- A solid understanding of global HR functions, processes and terminology

- Experience with modules such as Core HCM, Benefits, Talent Management, Succession and Time Tracking is a strong plus.

- Ability to contribute as a strong team player

- A pragmatic and can do attitude, along with energy and enthusiasm

- Ability to analyse information and data, and draw conclusions

- The ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision

- Flexibility to manage work within a mutli-geograhic (and multi-time zone) environment

- Ability to travel
