Analyst To AVP - Actuarial Analyst

- Design and build an end to end pricing process in that is best in class for all products

- Designing pricing algorithms in accordance with our Pricing Principles, feeding directly from actuarial and natural peril pricing models-

- Working with a range of stakeholders across the business including product teams, portfolio teams, data and technology teams to inform the best design of the pricing algorithm and recommend go-to-market pricing strategies

- Performing price analysis to determine commercial rates to deploy to market-

- Implementing algorithm simplification and improvements.

- Assisting with the design and build of monitoring reports

Work closely with our stakeholders:

- Work collaboratively with our stakeholders including EPD, Product, Portfolio teams, Group Natural Perils

- Sharing technical knowledge and project leadership

- Demonstrate Closer, Braver, Faster and live by the values of our spirit.

Candidate Profile:

- 5+ years of general insurance pricing experience

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications including Excel

- Experience with SAS, SQL, Python or equivalent

- Familiarity with pricing techniques and models such as GLM, GBM

- Tertiary qualification in a numerical or analytical discipline i.e. Finance, Mathematics or Statistics or Actuarial related field with demonstrated equivalent experience (Preferable)

Requirements:

CT Papers- 4-5

Skills- P&C Pricing , SQL, Python/ R is mandatory

Additional Skills- Emblem, Radar, Earnix
