Analyst/TL/Team Mgr - FX/OTC Derivatives

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Affirmation of FX Derivative and NDF trades with internal and external counterparties

- Production of ISDA paper trade confirmations for vanilla and complex FX Options and NDF trades.

- Incoming validation and matching of paper and electronic trade confirmations, including MT305 messages.

- Responsible for the effective management and resolution of trade discrepancies, including:

- Professional communication with thorough and detailed explanation to clients via e-mail or phone to resolve all differences in a timely manner

- Liaison with internal counterparts (i.e. Desk, Sales team, Trade Support, Settlements , Legal, Finance) to work through issues and identify the correct remediation required

- Acting as the first point of contact for a portfolio of clients and effectively resolving all incoming client queries within a pre-agreed timeframe

- Exercising good judgement skills to make the necessary decisions to address client queries and ensuring all high-priority queries are escalated to the management promptly

SKILLS:

- Degree Educated with 1-2 years experience in an OTC Derivatives environment. Extensive knowledge of derivative products within remit and the processes in the Confirmations and/or Settlements area.

- Experience gained in High Volume House and client service environment.

- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel

- Excellent verbal and written skills. Fluent in English.
