Analyst - Strategy - BFS

Position Overview:

The Company is looking to hire for the Finance & Strategy function, working closely with the Founding Team and Senior Management. This is a high profile, and significant responsibility undertaking, and the candidate will be responsible for leading strategic projects including stakeholder management, capital raising, investor relations, growth initiatives, new product launches, business planning, negotiations with key partners, and improving operational effectiveness. The role may involve domestic and international travel to represent the company at industry events and to interact with key stakeholders. The role involves cross-functional experience across various verticals such as Product, Operations, Sales, Finance, HR, and Marketing.

The Ideal Candidate:

- Analyst or Associate working in the financial services, corporate finance, consulting, investment banking, venture capital / private equity or Big 4 transaction advisory looking to move to a fastpaced, rapidly scaling fintech and help to build India's largest consumer finance company

- Top-notch problem solver with boundless energy, curiosity, hustle, and intellectual stamina

- Takes on projects well outside the comfort zone and sees them through to completion

- High degree of ownership and seamlessly handles multiple workstreams at once

- Has strong quantitative and qualitative skills and is comfortable in front of international audiences

- Desire to relocate to New Delhi / Gurgaon / NCR if not already there

Job Description:

- Support critical functions including capital raising, investor relations, business planning through new products, partnerships, investment opportunities

- Extensive modeling to build and maintain business plans

- Coordinate across cross-functional teams and build rapport with internal stakeholders

- Conduct internal business analysis of Company's financial and business performance, including portfolio analysis, revenue and cost, profitability and KPIs, budget and forecasts. Consolidate and produce business plans and review together with other senior executives/ business heads

- Developing communication about the Company's strategy, operations and overall financial performance for global shareholders and key stakeholders including board, senior management, regulatory and industry bodies

- Evaluate and execute opportunities for inorganic growth including M&A and strategic partnerships

- Create and monitor KPIs / reports / presentations to identify gaps, trends, opportunities for the business

- Create market maps and track global innovation, build expertise, and inform the team of developments

- Conduct industry and competitor analysis including: monitoring of industry trends, tracking of competitor trends, performance and developments

- Represent the firm at industry conferences in India and overseas

Eligibility Criteria:

- CA/Undergraduate from a top-tier institute

- 2-4 years of work experience from a top-tier firm, investment banking, private equity, venture capital or consulting

- Analytical mindset, with experience analyzing qualitative and quantitative data

- Deep desire to work hard, learn quickly, and push yourself intellectually

- Understanding of financial lending business models and metrics

- Strong research capabilities and ability to manipulate large data sets

- Thorough analytical abilities and proficiency in financial modelling and valuation

- Extremely strong grasp of written and spoken English, both grammatically and colloquially

- High degree of intellectual curiosity and proactive problem solving

- Ability to work under pressure and handle confidential matters with discretion

- Adaptability in a dynamic environment, high personal and professional integrity
