Analyst/Senior Analyst - Renewable Investments (Sector Specialist)

- As they continue to expand, they are seeking a dynamic and resourceful candidate to join Acquisitions and Finance team.

Position Overview:

As an Analyst/Senior Analyst, you will be an integral part of Renewable Investments team, collaborating closely with both U.S. and Hyderabad-based teams. Your primary focus will be on building financial models for new M&A opportunities and Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) bids. Additionally, you will analyze project returns, assess the impact on project returns and capital structure, and conduct due diligence during the pre-acquisition stage.

Responsibilities:

- Build financial models for M&A opportunities and PPA bids.

- Analyze project returns and provide detailed analysis based on investment memorandums and project materials.

- Assess the impact on project returns and capital structure.

- Run scenario analyses based on key project variables.

- Conduct internal and external due diligence, reviewing key project documents.

Qualifications:

- MBA (finance) or comparable qualification with 1-4 years of experience.

- Excellent financial modeling capabilities, ability to build project models independently.

- Strong research capabilities with an understanding of the power and utilities sector, focusing on solar, wind, and storage technologies.

- Excellent written communication skills and report-writing capabilities.
