- Responsible for logging and of all payments to ensure deadlines are met (online banking, paper instructions) through to payment completion
- Managing referrals to Front Office and London payment team, tracking replies
- Managing the creation of liquidity positions to London Liquidity team
- Managing intra and end of day reconciliations of outstanding payments
- Processing client cheques and advising of unpaids
- Processing charge claims for Bank branches
- Escalating any late payments or differences identified during payment reconciliation
Essential : 2 years banking experience within a payments processing environment
Skills & Experience:
Functional / Technical Competencies:
- Knowledge of SWIFT message types and Payment Systems; CHAPS, BACS, SEPA, FPS, TARGET 2
- Microsoft Office Suite (basic to intermediate level)
