Analyst/Senior Analyst - Fund Accounting - CA - Aviation & Fund Business

Role : Fund Accountant (UK Shift) (Analyst / Senior Analyst)

Location : Mumbai

Desired Skills :

- CA 3+ years post qualification experience in industry (not CA firm).

POSITION OVERVIEW :

The new opportunity is to support the Fund Controller on Aviation and Fund businesses. This is a varied role and key to the successful finance support function to the business. The person should be enthusiastic, hardworking and willing to take on a challenge.

This role involves working closely with several departments within Client and Outside Client including investment and portfolio management team, valuation and pricing, legal, tax, Administrator and Auditors to ensure the preparation of accurate and timely information.

This is a relatively new area to the business so this is an opportunity to join at an early stage and progress as this area of the business grows.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Monthly and quarterly reporting; working with Client operations and various admin fund accounting teams across different jurisdictions.

- Review of full accounting records including NAV, Financial statements and various schedules.

- Work closely with deal team while closing transactions.

- Help in producing various analysis and report for senior management.

- Assist in performing certain procedures regarding tax

- Assisting in the quarterly valuation process

- Fund budgeting and expense analysis

- Oversee external auditors and admin with regards to statutory fund audits

- Review, allocation and approval of invoices and expenses

- Working with Client colleagues across New York, Ireland and India

- Ad Hoc Projects
